FOSR Home : Educational Programs & Special Events

To instill and sustain interest in seeing that our Shenandoah River environment is healthy and appealing, we make educational presentations to schools and civic organizations, informing them as to how and where they can make a difference.

Several times a year, members lead or participate in events such as cleaning up trash in creeks and rivers, "sojourning" in an educational (and fun) canoe float, and raising awareness and funds for FOSR and other environmental groups.
